MONTREAL – Montreal Canadiens announced Friday that forward Max Pacioretty suffered a knee injury. His recovery is expected to be 12 weeks.

Pacioretty, 26, suffered his injury while working out off-ice in Florida, Thursday, July 9, 2015.

  1. How timely. I recently mentioned how fragile this player is and the next day we learn that he has injured himself while “training.” I do not want to be judgemental but I wonder where and how he was training in Florida, under whose supervision or was he really training. Of course, he would make a very quick and remarkable recovery and the adoring fans and media would marvel at his recuperative powers. However, this would take him off the trade market for now. I drool over Yakupov for MKP and a pick, playing alongside Galchenyuk.
