Jonathan Drouin was praised after giving two short interviews to TVA & RDS.
• Habs prospect report – Summary of Canadiens rookie camp. 16 rookies were invited to the Canadiens main training camp. Canadiens signed defenceman Cody Goloubef to a professional tryout contract. Canadiens signed defenceman Sami Niku to a one-year, two-way contract.

• Canadiens training camp is underway. 70 players are at training camp split into three groups. This is the first Canadiens training camp directed by Dominique Ducharme. What does that mean for forward lines and defence pairings? 
• NHL news and notes – Olympic hockey schedule for 2022 Winter games has been announced. Reduced capacities in some Canadian NHL arenas this season. NHL has announced a crackdown on cross-checking for the 2021-22 season.
