I can’t understand why Bob Gainey wouldn’t try to sign super pest Jarkko Ruutu to a similar contract to add more grit and muscle to his roster.
I realize Ruutu is a pesky type player but he would have added grit and is also willing to defend his teammates when things get out of hand.
