Sven Andrighetto didn’t waste any time making an impression after getting called up from St. John’s.  He scored five minutes into the Habs game against the New York Rangers to kick off a day filled with Montreal offense.  Devante Smith-Pelly knocked in two in a row, followed by Alex Galchenyuk and Max Pacioretty.  It was at this point that Henrik Lundqvist was pulled from the net.  Carey Price would also find himself missing from the crease after leaving the game with an injury.  Final score: Canadiens, 5-1. With Price out for an unknown amount of time, Mike Condon found himself back in the starting goaltender position.  Friday night kicked off a home-and-home against the New Jersey Devils and it was Andrighetto who once again got the scoring started.  Andrei Markov notched his 400th career assist, and Galchenyuk continued his scoring streak.  Goals went back and forth but it was Galchenyuk and Andrighetto who sealed the win for the Canadiens in the shootout.  Final score: Canadiens, 3-2 (SO). The Devils traveled to Montreal for the rematch on Saturday night, and for the Habs it was the Galchenyuk show.  The young forward scored two more goals, but it wasn’t enough to stave off a New Jersey win in overtime.  Final score: Devils, 3-2 (OT).
