On P.K. Subban: “He was fine. He’s a young player. He was fine. Subban can pass the puck. It’s unbelievable some of the things he can do. In saying all that, when we look at our group today we’ll be looking at what you can do with the puck and what you can do without the puck and finding the best synergy to allow us to win.”

  • Babcock said that the coaching staff had a plan coming into the tournament regarding their goaltenders and that the plan was based on watching NHL games all season. He did not reveal whether Carey Price or Roberto Luongo would start against Finland on Sunday.  Babcock: “I thought both goaltenders were real strong. We’ll talk to them tonight and let them know.”
