Metropolit Inks Two-year Deal with Swiss-league Team

As we reported here on Saturday, Glen Metropolit is off to Switzerland, for a second time. Here’s TSN’s story confirming the signing.

Montreal Canadiens centre Glen Metropolit has signed a two-year contract with EV Zug in Switzerland.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Claimed off waivers from the Flyers on Feb. 27, 2009, the unrestricted free agent scored 16 goals and added 13 assists for the Canadiens last season.
The Toronto native racked up a career-best 33 points during his lone season in Boston.
