The Tampa Bay Lightning re-signed centre Chris Gratton to a one-year contract Friday.
Gratton, 33, had 21 points (10-11) in 60 games for the Lightning last season.

“He is a true professional that fits in perfectly with our plan to be a tough team to play against,” vice-president of hockey operations Brian Lawton said in a release. “We look forward to having a healthy Chris Gratton on the ice next season.”

The six-foot-four, 221-pound native of Brantford, Ont., has 565 points (214-351) in 1,068 career games with Tampa Bay, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Phoenix, Colorado and Florida.
