Tom Kostopoulos missed practice today and took a therapy day (possible ankle injury). He was replace by Matt D’Agostini on the Lapierre line while Steve Begin practiced along side Saku Koivu and Kyle Chipchura on the fourth line.

Koivu spoke to reporters after his first full practice since being injured against the Lightning on December 11th. He stated that he wasn’t quite ready for game action against the Capitals tomorrow. He thought he could be ready by next week at the lastest, possibly against the Nashville Predators next Thursday at the Bell Centre.
