Let the speculation begin……I guess we’re prospecting for fool’s gold with this dream or at least until Caps ownership decides they can’t sign Ovechkin and need to unload him. Highly unlikely but not improbable……
I don’t blame Andrei Markov for being agitated/mad at reporters who asked him if he would try to persuade his buddy, Alex Ovechkin to come to Montreal. As Journal de Montreal reporter Marc de Foy states, Markov wasn’t persuaded by Alex Ovechkin when he showed loyalty to the Montreal Canadiens and signed the 4 year/$23 million contract. He doesn’t believe in pushing his or the team’s interests onto Ovechkin, he believes it’s a personal choice and shoould be left that way.
