Cayden Primeau is the son of former NHLer, Keith Primeau. He is committed to Northeastern University. While his USHL statistics don’t impress, his skills do.

At 6-foot-2 and 185-pounds, Primeau covers the net effectively using his size, agility, and positioning. Growing up facing shots in practice by NHL players has given him a start most goaltenders would be jealous of.

However, Primeau will need to improve his glove side and rebound control, but at 17-years-old and deep on the Canadiens depth chart, he has time to refine his game. The USA Hockey product plays a gritty game, and never quits on a play. He tracks second and third-chance shots as he faces barrages of shots regularly while tending the Lincoln goal. He projects as a potential NHL starter.
