MONTREAL, QC — If you’ve been looking for a place to get an inside look at the latest Montreal Canadiens and Laval Rocket news, show off your favourite fan gear, AND get answers to your hockey questions – you’ve come to the right place!

Hosted by Amy Johnson, lead correspondent at the AHL Report, Habs Hockey Report is a new weekly video column giving you a measured view of the Habs and getting you up close with their top prospects and AHL affiliate. Every Thursday you’ll find:

  • insight about the Canadiens and the Laval Rocket,
  • exclusive one-on-one interviews with prospects and other personnel,
  • and plenty of fan interaction!

Habs Hockey Report will feature a recurring mailbag segment, opportunities to give us your input on the Canadiens, and a chance to Show Your Habs!  What’s that? Well, we’re excited to resurrect this Rocket Sports Media oldie but goodie. Here’s how it works:

  • Take photos of you and your friends sporting your best Habs and Rocket gear, your wow-worthy fan cave, or adorable decked-out kids and pets on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Tag your photos with the #ShowYourHabs hashtag.
  • Subscribe to the All Habs YouTube channel and watch Habs Hockey Report where we might feature you on the show!

This Week:

On this week’s episode, Amy brings you up-to-date on all the latest Montreal Canadiens happenings, including Otto Leskinen’s new contract, Logan Mailloux news, and more!

Then she takes fans and viewers through the highs and lows of what has turned out to be the last week of the Laval Rocket’s season. Hear about a gripping end to the seven-game series, plus catch video clips of post-game interviews in the Laval and Springfield dressing rooms, before catching a glimpse of some of Laval’s exit interviews.

Finally, you had such terrific answers to last week’s Feedback Forum question, Amy spends the entire third segment just reading and reacting to your responses!

laval vs thunderbirds.the better team won.tough to lose when you get that close.gave it all they had.not enough to get the job done.fathers day thought/tribute,here goes:growing up here in ottawa-outaouais,hockey was our life.dad loved sports, especially hockey.especially jean beliveau,pocket-rocket,guy,jacques plante, dryden entre autres et le canadien de montreal.games started at 8pm back then.we had school the next day eh.we would go to bed not knowing the final score.in the morning me and my 2 smaller brothers would try and wake up early before dad went to work.if we were lucky we would catch him shaving.we would ask him with childish anticipation/excitement et intrepidation,”what was the score dad?did we win?”always hoping to hear that CH won.he often would play tricks on us and say,”toronto 2-montreal 1″.we would be devastated, forlorn and sad.but before he would leave for work,he would then tell us the true score.”montreal 2-leafs 1″.we would jump with joy.happy all day/nite.the universe was right again.till the next time.we will always remember those moments of our childhood with our dad.he is with montreal canadiens heroes now.boom-boomCH5,jeanCH4,guyCH10 and everyone else.
