“I was a little disappointed about going to Cincinnati because I thought I had a good chance to make the (AHL) Hamilton Bulldogs,” Beauregard said. “But I wanted to play pro hockey and we had the best team in the league. We won the Cup and it was my first championship ever. It was a memorable day because I had never played on a really great team or had a great playoff. It’s been over a month since we won and I’ve still got that championship feeling.”
