Post-game Chatter |
- “The most important thing was to win the hockey game. We got a great start, a start that we were looking for, a start that we worked on yesterday and applied when we started the game. We got results.”
- “For a reason that I don;t know, it’s really tough to explain… I was we followed the game plan and with the result that they were back in the game. I thought that our third period was better but what an effort for David Desharnais. He pursued the puck and stayed in the play and took a perfect shot.”
- “Francis Bouillon was one our of best defensemen. I was really pleased with the way he played. He showed that he was working hard during practice and waiting for his opportunity. One thing for sur, he’s going to be there next game because he deserves to be there.”
- “Carey Price gave us another good chance to win the game. He’s been phenomenal for us.”
- “I ended up taking the decision (to make Josh Gorges a scratch due to his injury.) He tried in warm-up. We spoke with the medical staff and spoke with [Gorges]. He’s such a warrior, he didn’t want to take himself out of the lineup but I knew that he wasn’t capable to compete and help the team (given the injury.)
