Post-game Chatter |
Coach Michel Therrien:
- “We played really well in the first period. We followed the game plan. We didn’t give up much. (After the first period) for whatever reason, we didn’t follow the game plan, we started to open up the game and especially like a team like that who has a lot of skill, we opened the door and they certainly took full advantage of it.”
- When asked about what Lars Eller said pre-game: “An inappropriate comment.”
- “We were playing well in the first period. We were managing the puck really well. We didn’t open up for no reason. All of a sudden, we started to take chances giving the other team odd-man rushes. You never want to do that, not only against the Oilers because they are a young talented team, but any team in the NHL. You can’t play like that.”
