Game Preview by Sam Gerber |
Last game : MTL 1 WSH 2 Many Canadiens players gave it their all but it wasn’t enough to beat the defending champs. The Habs third defensive paring and their fourth line were victimized for both goals against. Overall, the Habs did not play with enough urgency generate enough offence.

Brendan Gallagher
- “You want to win whenever you’re playing, we’re all competitive guys. Obviously, we would have liked this game to mean a little more than it is, but it doesn’t, which is tough.”
