Last game : MTL 5 BOS 4 F The Habs treated their fans to quite a game getting scoring from some unlikely players. The Bruins came out strong in the third scoring the tying goal early. A goal challenge by Julien was was the changing point of the game. The Habs top line shut down the best line in hockey while Victor Mete scored twice with Tomas Tatar and Paul Byron finding the back of the net.

Players to watch

Victor Mete
Snakebitten no more Mete has three goals on the year and has found his confidence and knows when to jump up into the play.
Max Domi
The Habs need Domi to be one of their best players and after a tough game against Boston he’ll be wanting to have a bounce back performance tonight.
Paul Byron
Byron finally scored his first goal on Tuesday. Hopefully this turns the page for Byron and he can get back on pace for another 20 goal season.

Keys to Victory

Score early and often
The Habs are near the top of the league in scoring and it’s no secret it comes from all lines. The team’s depth is its greatest strength and will need to be all season long.
Use speed
The Habs have to be the faster team tonight.
Defend better
Winning games while given up more than three goals is great but it’s not how the Habs want to win. Carey Price has been solid but the Habs continue to give up far too many high danger chances.

What to Expect by Sam Gerber

These teams are only separated by two points in the standings but have been constructed very differently. The Flyers are led by veterans Claude Giroux and Jakob Voracek but have placed young players in key positions throughout the lineup. If the Habs continue to use their depth and play hard right to the very end this should be a game they should win.
