New Habs Signee Will Don Head-to-Toe Easton

VAN NUYS, Calif. (October 8, 2009) – Easton Hockey today announced the signing of Montreal Canadiens free agent signee Mike Cammalleri.

As an Easton endorsee, Cammalleri will wear and market Easton Hockey gear, as well as participate in the brand’s global marketing campaign “Confidence Is Everything.” The former Michigan Wolverine star will also be involved in the development of future Easton technology driven designs.

“Everyone knows Easton makes the most innovative gear on the market,” Cammalleri said. “I’m very excited to be in Montreal and looking forward to getting the new S19 gear out on the ice.”

Cammalleri inked a five-year deal with Montreal in July after a stellar 2008-2009 campaign with Calgary in which he scored a career-high 82 points. The 27-year-old standout will look to help the Canadiens to their third straight postseason appearance.

“Mike Cammalleri exemplifies what hockey is today: speed, skill, dedication and a gift for finding the back of the net,” said Mark Hughes, Director of Sports Marketing and Athletes for Easton Hockey. “Montreal is getting a proven contributor and leader. We’re excited to have him on board.”
