A Look Back

The first period was an exact copy of how game one went between the Habs and Canucks. Luckily enough things changed in the second. The Habs had far more energy left and were dominate in the second, scoring four goals. The game took a turn near the end when the Habs lost two key role players. Both Paul Byron and Joel Armia will be out tonight as Byron took a puck off the foot and Armia took an unnecessary hit to the head from Tyler Myers. Myers was not suspended and you can expect the Habs to make note of that tonight.

Players to Watch

• Corey Perry
  Due to the injuries Perry will make his Habs debut. Perry is known as one of the biggest pests around the league and will definitely try to make a statement that he should be a regular in the line up.
• Artturi Lehkonen
  Lehkonen should get some extra ice time tonight due to the injuries as well. In his first season Lehkonen had a career high 18 goals, if he can find that finish again the Habs will be in good shape.
• Josh Anderson
  Anderson will be a key player tonight, with some tension in the air, you know the Habs most physical forward will be in the thick of it. Not making his team short handed will be key even when the game gets heated.

Keys to Victory

• Maintain composure
  The Habs were not happy with the Armia hit from Myers and they will being make note of it however they need to make sure they keep their composure and focus on the two points.
• Play 60 minutes
  With emotions high both teams are going to come out hard, the team that plays hard from start to finish and plays the complete game without any let down should get the points tonight.
• Be disciplined
  The Habs know they need to be disciplined tonight, the refereeing hasn’t been consistent and there has been a lot of tight calls that haven’t gone the Habs way.
