An excerpt from the Canadiens.com article:

A number of Bulldogs saw action in a few preseason contests during the Canadiens’ training camp, an experience that has given them the confidence to step up and take control in Hamilton.

– ECHL rookie of the year in 2007-08, David Desharnais hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down in with the ‘Dogs. The 22-year-old has five points so far, tying him for the team lead with third-year vet Matt D’Agostini.

Ben Maxwell has impressed early on in his first pro season. Over the weekend, the rookie center added a pair of goals to extend his points streak to four games.

– Veteran Mike Glumac has been equally impressive, matching Maxwell’s points total (three goals, one assist). Glumac found the back of the net twice in a four-minute span in the win over Norfolk.

Yannick Weber generated some buzz during the Habs’ exhibition calendar and has continued to do so on the Bulldogs’ blue line. Quarterback on the team’s power-play, the Swiss native has a goal and an assist so far and has tossed 16 shots at the opposing net so far.
