Excerpt from the Hamiton Spectator game review of the Hamilton Bulldogs pre-season game against the Manitoba Moose:

The Hamilton Bulldogs won despite losing on Saturday night.

The Manitoba Moose nipped the Bulldogs 3-2 at Mile One Centre in the final round-robin game of the Iceberg Cup AHL preseason tournament.

The loss left the Bulldogs, Moose and Toronto Marlies all with 1-1 records. Using goal-spread as the tie-breaker the Marlies and the Bulldogs advanced to the championship game Sunday at 12:30 p.m. (Hamilton time).
