  • Roster news – Jake Evans cleared to play. Dominique Ducharme self isolating at home. Canadiens signed VP John Sedgwick to a three-year contract extension.
  • Habs prospect report – Forward Yannick Veilleux has reportedly signed a two-year contract with Eisbaren Berlin of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Canadiens signed Laurent Dauphin to a one-year, two-way contract.   • Marc Bergevin lost out to Lou Lamoriello for the Jim Gregory Award for GM of the Year. Bergevin raised expectations for this team heading into the season and it came to fruition with the Canadiens advancing to the Stanley Cup Finals. 
  • Habs Playoffs News and Notes – Capacity at the Bell Centre currently at 3,500, while Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay at 14,800. Officiating in the playoffs by Chris Lee and Dan O’Rourke has been heavily scrutinized in games three and four of the semi-finals. 

Segment 2: Stanley Cup Final

  • A magical playoff run from the Montreal Canadiens culminates in a Stanley Cup Final appearance. Four wins away from a Stanley Cup championship, Rick and Joe break down the improbable match up for the Stanley Cup.

    CH31 is the reason.he is carrying the team like saint-patrickCH33.he is playing inspired hockey.he is inspiring the team.point a la ligne.of course a little bit of “providence” from our eldersCH helps too eh!

    lethonen reminds me of brian skrudlandCH39?tireless worker.unselfish.did not score often.but when he did they were cruciale and very important ones!!!remember his overtime goal in 86?love those guys eh.
    some thoughts for the final???
    tampa gonna try to rough us up.especially our young ones.
    k.k.,suzuki,lethonen,cauldfield,evans,etc.we gotta be ready for that!play thru it.and give it back!!!cannott complain or pout!
    gonna try the same with CH31.get in the paint,the mixer.
    disrupt,interfere,rough him up too with what the refs allow???
