MONTREAL, QC – Need to get caught up on Habs highlights? Want to relive the memorable moments of the past week?

Then All Habs Rewind is for you.

Every Sunday watch the most unforgettable goals, saves, hits by your Montreal Canadiens compiled by our video production team! Then tell us which one you liked most in the comments section below.

The Canadiens had to wait until Wednesday to kick off their week, and they did it on the road in Buffalo.  The Sabres didn’t give the Habs much trouble, as Alex Galchenyuk scored in the first period followed by David Desharnais and Brendan Gallagher with power play goals in the second and third periods, respectively.  Things got a bit more physical in the third period as John Scott and Douglas Murray threw down the gloves.  Murray sustained a substantial facial cut and left the ice bleeding heavily.  Carey Price had another spectacular performance in net with 24 saves.  Final score: Canadiens, 3-1. In yet another Friday night tilt, the Canadiens continued their road trip as they headed to Washington, D.C. to take on the Capitals.  The opening twenty minutes looked good for the Habs, keeping the Caps’ mostly pinned in their own end and Danny Briere potting a goal. Things got a little more competitive in the second period, but a goal by Tomas Plekanec allowed the Canadiens to retain the lead.  They couldn’t sustain that lead, however, with the home team tying the game late in the third period.  No scoring in overtime meant that the game would be decided in a shootout.  Peter Budaj was in net for the Canadiens and didn’t have his best showing.  Final score: Capitals, 3-2. Saturday night brought the Canadiens back to home ice at the Bell Centre for a matchup against their old rival the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Habs opened the game with a lot of energy, skating particularly well and massively outshooting the opposition.  Max Pacioretty and P.K. Subban both scored even-strength goals in the first period.  George Parros was back in the lineup on this night and he and Colton Orr revisited their fighting skills early in the second period.  This tilt, however, ended without any major injuries this time.  Plekanec then gave the Habs a three-goal lead, which had the crowd cheering loudly, but not nearly as loudly as when Pacioretty picked up his second goal of the night a few minutes later, this one while the Habs were shorthanded.  But before the period came to a close, two quick goals by Toronto shortened the lead back to two.  Price put on a stellar show in net to keep the Leafs out of the back of the net.  Final score: Canadiens, 4-2. The Canadiens have a four-game coming up, only one of which isn’t on home ice.  First up will be a home-and-home set against the New Jersey Devils, which begins on Monday night in Montreal. Until then, we’ve got plenty of content to keep you busy reading about your favourite team! In case you missed them, here are a few fantastic articles published earlier this week:
