► Juniors win playoff opener: Louis Leblanc and Philippe Lefebvre each registered a goal in a 5-3 Montreal Juniors win over the Halifax Mooseheads in Game 1 of their first-round series.  Leblanc‘s tally turned out to be the game-winner.  The Juniors outshot their opponents 40-18 as goaltender Frédéric Piché of the Mooseheads was pulled after the fifth goal, said to be fighting the flu bug going around the Halifax locker room.  He will likely return to the crease for Game 2 that will take place Friday evening at the Verdun Auditorium.
