SARNIA, ON — Hockey fans in Ontario really enjoy hockey and they made their voices heard as they came out in full force Friday night for the first-ever All Habs Hockey Party in Sarnia!

A large crowd of hockey fans spent a Habs-filled evening at Brownstones Sports Lounge & Restaurant  as part of the All Habs group.  As the Montreal Canadiens put on quite a show in their home matchup against the Los Angeles Kings (you’re invited to read our full game recap), our guests enjoyed the game on Brownstones’ 10-foot video wall and experienced amazing service and VIP treatment, including drink and food specials!

Brownstones is fairly new to the restaurant and bar scene in Sarnia, but proved to be the perfect venue for the All Habs event. In spectacular fashion, the hostesses greeted our guests while wearing Canadiens jerseys and our server, Kaila, could be found sporting the CH before the night was through despite the fact that she’s a devout Toronto fan.

In fact, she wasn’t the only person in attendance rooting for a team other than the Habs.  In addition to the Leafs, we were pleased to welcome fans of the Red Wings, Penguins, and Flyers in our group as well.  The Hockey Party initiative was started more than five years ago to help bring hockey fans of all allegiances together, and nights like this one helped to show just how much fans of all teams simply enjoying sharing their sport with other passionate fans.

Our guests also participated in our All Habs Trivia Challenge during the first intermission and some fabulous prizes were awarded for their efforts! Par-Tee Rentals, based out of Petrolia, Ontario, donated five Habs-related framed memorabilia. Par-Tee Rentals was so committed to the event that both owners even made an appearance! Be sure to check them out if you are planning an event in Lambton County.

AG Event Graphics, based out of Sarnia, Ontario, donated a custom, one-of-a-kind Montreal Canadiens print. AG Event Graphics also provided Habs stickers to every guest in attendance. Make sure you see them for any printing needs – they are the go-to print shop in Southwestern Ontario!  We sincerely thank both of the evening’s prize sponsors for their contributions and appreciate their support.  We also thank the management at Brownstones for their hospitality and for helping to make our group feel right at home.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended our Hockey Party! It was a pleasure to meet everyone and form new hockey friendships.
