A Christmas Wish:

The Canadiens have been good this year. They started off the season with a nine-game winning streak. Carey Price is the Hart of the team as well as the Ted Lindsay, the Jennings, and the Vezina.

The Canadiens have great goaltending that they can rely on when Price is hurt but in the theme of Christmas, a tree isn’t quite the same without the star well-positioned on top- or in this case between the pipes. The team has been doing great keeping their pipes in check so their net doesn’t flood.

After coming off such an incredible season, Price seems to have been bitten by the injury bug- perhaps a reindeer tick. Speaking of ticks, Ticker (aka Dustin Tokarski) seems to be doing a great job filling in; Condon is keeping things safe back there; and Fucale is someone the team can always call(e) on.

Although we all love Rudolph, it would be nice to have Price back and see that red light shine a little less often. Carey Price is resting up  and all Habs’ fans are trying to be extra good so your sleigh will Carey something extra special this year. Besides, Christmas is all about being with the ones you love and the team sure does love their goalie.
