Excerpt from the Hamiltonbulldogs.com game review:

The Hamilton Bulldogs were defeated 3-2 by the Binghamton Senators in the first game of the home-and-home-away from home series between the two clubs. Binghamton starting goaltender Brian Elliott made 26 saves to earn the win for the Senators.

From the Hamilton spectator by Garry McKay (Binghamton beats listless Bulldogs):

The Hamilton Bulldogs had their three-game road winning streak snapped Saturday by a Binghamton Senators team that had more players who wanted to play.

“We had too many passengers,” said Hamilton coach Don Lever. “We just got outworked.“We didn’t sustain much in the other end and we kept turning pucks over.”
