| On this day in hockey history… 1975 – Guy Lafleur became the third player in Montreal history to score 50 goals in a season, when he scored in the Canadiens’ 4-1 win over the Kansas City Scouts. It was the first of six straight 50 goal seasons for Lafleur (an NHL record at the time). |
