Is Pacioretty heading to Hamilton?

An excerpt from the Hamilton Spectator:

The Hamilton Bulldogs will, in all likelihood, have another first-round draft choice in their lineup this year.

“He’s part of a group of young players who will be fighting for a job in Montreal at training camp, but he is just 19 and the most likely scenario is that he’s going to start the season in Hamilton,” said Bulldogs general manager Julien BriseBois.

“He’s a big power forward-type player,” said BriseBois. “He has a lot of skills in his tool box and will, most likely, eventually be a power forward in the NHL.

“He has the size and he’s physically mature already and is very strong. His biggest adaptation next year won’t be that he needs to gain strength. It will be more the tempo of the pro game compared to the college game, as well as the schedule and the lifestyle that comes with being a professional athlete.”
