I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Bob Gainey were to send Mikhail Grabovski or Guillaume Latendresse (god forbid they do the right thing with #84!!) to Hamilton and recalled Kyle Chipchura before the playoffs started.
He is a clutch playoff performer as he demonstrated during the 2006 WJC and in last year’s AHL playoffs/Calder Cup championship. He would also add more character, leadership qualities and a solid defensive forward who can play a gritty, griding game along the boards.
