  1. salut-bien chers amis allhabs,
    great podcast/emmission
does our future look well?you betcha!
these kids can play.and finally management is recognisng that and letting them play!!!years, decades of trying to make the players fit the system, when they were drafted for other reasons?the kids try and do what they are instructed.but it often ends to no avail.their strenghts/talents are not used/developed properly.what then happens?confusion.crushed confiance/identity.waivers.the minors.traded away,,,etc
this crop of kids will play to their strenghts it seems.because “la gerance” is finally allowing et nurturing it!yes, the games are meaningless for the standings.yes, there is no pressure/expectations to make the playoffs.yes,we can play with less caution and more risk.but so far,the team is skating well.attacking from the defense-out.making plays.we can leave the strategies for next season when the play-offs may be in reach?for now:”away les gars, away”
what do i retain from the rivalry nordiques vs CH?
not so much the hockey.but rather the violence.the hatred.
you mentioned that infamous good friday match-up in the play-offs,1984.i remember that one very well.the hockey?non!
the bench clearing brawl-yes!the cheap shot that ended jean hamel’s career.that is what i remember.an innocent young kid with a promising career ahead of him.
caught in a blood-bath brawl.losing his eye/vision because of a cheap-shot from louis slegher a notorious thug on skates.
ps,all these J’s kids and others, where did they come from?
