  1. merci/thanks amy,
great show.so glad the trade stuff is over.living with the fear of losing our favourite players and heroes.oh well,
great interview with ylonen.thank you for that.he speaks very humbly.his talent is great.wish him well eh.one thing with all the trades:clears spots for the younger ones eh.(as long as we give them an honest shot.as long as we dont go after too many free-agents either eh?)thats the next big dilemna for CH i think?play the kids and wait for them to mature?or sign/acquire free-agents, more veteran players and try and win sooner!will be honest about the trade deadline stuff,i was of mixed contemplations?
losing lehkonen really hurt.i saw another saku koivu in him.even the others we traded away, quality very serviceable players.yet you are right about the bad contracts-cap hit.
    oh well,
see what happens at the draft and this summer?now that we got all these picks,i hope we use them!!!all.if we go to this lenght to acquire them, then justify them and keep them all.
truely build thru the draft and be patient with the developement.
to answer your question;grade the deals?hmmm,
grudgingly i will give it a thumps-up!i love my players.hate to lose any of them.aspire to win with them.yet, for the betterment/good of the team it was probably the wise thing to do!(but keep CH62)
    ps,question for the mailbag?
do you think our capitaine shea weber will return next season?(i think he will defy all odds and be back.he is a warrior!)
    merci pour l’ecoute
    portez-vous bien amy
    a la semaine prochaine

    • Bonjour Dino! Thank you for such a great comment! I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the interviewed with Jesse Ylonen; he certainly is humble with all that talent! I do believe that the remainder of the season is a perfect opportunity to give the younger prospects as much playing time as possible. With no playoffs on the line, there’s not the same pressure to not make mistakes and mistakes is how they learn in game scenarios. Would love to see Ylonen called up for a bit, perhaps even Vejdemo once he is healthy again. You’re right that development requires patience and this is a prime moment for development!

Thanks as well for your response to the Feedback Forum question and for submitting an All Habs Mailbag question! I’ll be sure to get those in on next week’s show.

Take care & enjoy Saturday night Habs hockey tonight!
      Cheers,
      Amy
