Last game : MTL 1 WSH 2 Many Canadiens players gave it their all but it wasn’t enough to beat the defending champs. The Habs third defensive paring and their fourth line were victimized for both goals against. Overall, the Habs did not play with enough urgency generate enough offence.

Ryan Poehling
Poehling will make his NHL debut after completing his NCAA career. Poehling is a big body-center who dazzled at the World Junior Championships for Team USA.
Jesperi Kotkaniemi
Kotkaniemi should get some extra ice-time tonight back centering the Canadiens third line. Julien has had a negative effect on the rookie’s confidence in recent weeks.
Victor Mete
Can Mete finally score his first NHL goal before this season comes to an end?

Enjoy the game
With the playoffs no longer in the picture the players have to have fun and enjoy the moment. It will be a challenge for the players to display their professionalism and end the season on a positive note.
Play for pride
In a nothing game it will be hard to be amped up but the Habs still can play for pride and to entertain their Bell Centre fans.
Channel the emotion
Habs vs. Maple Leafs on a Saturday night is usually a tight, emotional game. With Poehling and Lindgren in the lineup, fans may get glimpses of the lineup for next season.
