  1. When will Jeff Bronfman get Pierre Mcguire as GM and then he will start the ball rolling. I believe Pierre would be the perfect fit with the Canadiens; he comes from an English and French family and I believe there is no one more knowledgeable in regards to players under 30. He has been with Team Canada (junior and NHL.), he has coached and is a total technicien of the game of hockey. Once he is appointed, he would choose the coach and select scouts that actually know what they are talking about.
    Please Mr. Molson, I’m tired of watching the Canadiens fight for 8th place every year. I want the champions that the Canadiens once were. Good luck Pierre.

  2. Geoff Molson, not Jeff Bronfman is the principle owner of the Canadiens.

    Mcguire has not worked in an NHL position in over 15 years. His last job he was fired from (HC of the Hartford Whalers). In 2005, he said the Canadiens future in goal was ‘well in hand’ with Theodore, Huet, Garon and Yann Denis, he was bigger on draft bust Gilbert Brule than Carey Price. He is prone to arrogance and overexaggeration for his self-serving tirades against the Canadiens, saying Capitals draft pick Dmitri Orlov is going to be the next Sergei Zubov, Orlov has yet to play an NHL game. He said the Leafs would be the most improved team in the EC in 09-10, only for them to finish 29th and give Boston Tyler Seguin. He said Mike Komisarek made Andrei Markov look good. He has continously said MTL can’t make the playoffs the way they are, but they still do.

    He’s an egomaniac who wants to be right about everything even though he just twists the facts to make himself sound like he was right all along.
