RDS: Habs sign Tom Kostopoulos for 2yrs/$1.8 million

    Habster’s take:

    Gainey is adding a depth player with the addition of Kostopoulos but I would have preferred using the money to sign another defenseman like Aaron Miller, Danny Markov, Vitaly Vishnevski or Andy Sutton. Gainey still has about $2 million to spend which could be used to sign a half decent defenseman(#4-6).
